Information from Ministry of the interior here.
As you already know, due to the outbreak of COVID-19, there have been many restrictions in countries all around the world and as well in Czech Republic. In Czech Republic there has been declared state of emergency from 12.3.2020 until 17.5.2020.
In Czech Republic we had nation-wide quarantine (you could have only go out for necessary reasons, work and to go into nature), international travel restrictions, most stores and services were closed and people have to wear protection over their nose and mouth.
The government is slowly allowing things to get back to normal, if hygienic procedures are followed. For example restaurants can have outside area open, if there are at least 1,5 m spaces between the tables, disinfection available etc.
At the moment foreigners are not allowed to travel to Czech republic, but there are negotiations with countries to reopen the borders as soon as possible. At the moment in the media we have seen mentions of Austria, Poland, Slovakia, Germany and Croatia. It depends on the health situation in the countries.
Our hostel will reopen as soon as possible which will be probably 25.5.2020. We were closed for more then a month and now we are trying to reply to all requests as soon as possible. Please be patient. We will reply to all your messages and emails. Thank you for understanding.
